The Surgeons of Gaza is an original acrylic and ink painting on stretched canvas by the masterful French painter Antoine Janot.

The picture depicts a doctor performing a surgical procedure in a ward in the last standing hospital in Gaza. Due to the lack of electricity, the surgeon has to perform the operation by lighting cellphones.
